Jaye RobinsonIt’s been a very productive few months at City Hall!

Just this week, the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee (PWIC) approved two key programs that are going to fundamentally shape the city’s future: the Road Safety Plan and the Long Term Waste Management Strategy.

As Chair of this Committee, I’m a big proponent of setting ambitious goals – keep reading to learn more about my work behind the scenes to make Toronto a leader in both road safety and waste diversion.

In addition, as we gear up for the city’s 2017 budget process this fall, I’ve pushed for increased transparency and accountability in what new services and programs we’re approving at City Hall and how we plan to pay for them.

With the summer now upon us, this newsletter includes useful reminders about what goes in the recycling bin and how you can keep track of your water use. There’s also a full list of the more than 20 roads in Ward 25 scheduled for repair or reconstruction this year.

Read on for important summer tips, exciting upcoming events and ways to get involved in your community from helping to shape the future of Toronto’s ravines to volunteering at the local food bank! I’ve also provided the latest updates regarding ongoing development applications.

As always, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions or concerns. Just send me an email at or give me a call at (416) 395-6408.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Warm regards,
