Spring is finally here – if only the weather would cooperate!

The warmer weather puts Ward 25’s incredible parks in the spotlight, and I’ve included great news about park improvements coming to Don Mills, St. Andrews and the Yonge & Lawrence neighbourhood.

Early 2015 has been busy as usual at City Hall.

Toronto’s City Manager is set to retire, and I’ve been appointed to the selection committee to find his replacement. As I told the Toronto Star, the City Manager is the lynchpin of our city’s government, and I’m glad Ward 25 will have a say in the selection process.

As Chair of the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee, I championed a successful motion directing city staff to develop a comprehensive road safety plan for Toronto. I’ve included a full report below!

I’ve also included updates on traffic signal synchronizationCommittee of Adjustment reform and my efforts to relieve congestion on the Yonge subway line.

Please mark off Saturday, May 30 for my annual Environment Day! It’s a great opportunity to clear house after your spring clean. More details below.

Read on for the latest development updatesWard 25 events and 5 things you may not know about potholes.

As always, please don’t hesitate to get in touch if I can be of any assistance. You can reach me at or (416) 395-6408. You can also find me on Twitter and Facebook.

I look forward to hearing from you!
