Community Consultation at the CNIB
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 2011
7:00 p.m.
CNIB Conference Centre
(Main Floor)
1929 Bayview Avenue
Since 1954, our neighbours have known us as the charitable organization that provides essential services for Canadians who are blind or partially sighted. Our bridge is a community landmark and a means for safe passage across busy Bayview Avenue.
However, our bridge is showing its age. Following the most recent annual engineering assessment, CNIB must close the bridge by December 5, 2011 to ensure pedestrian safety.
We invite you – our neighbours – to attend a community consultation to discuss the current state, closure, and options for the bridge’s future.
We also invite you to share what the bridge means to you in advance of the November 29th meeting by emailing us at: BayviewBridge@cnib.ca.
Join us to have your say about the future of the Bayview Bridge.
