Bayview Avenue Traffic Working Group

Community News |

Dear Friends and Neighbours,

I’ve heard loud and clear that traffic and congestion on Bayview Avenue between Lawrence Avenue East and the 401 is a real and significant problem – a problem I see firsthand every day.

The issue has been front and centre throughout city planning’s ongoing design guidelines study.

Based on residents’ feedback, I successfully tabled a motion directing city staff to establish a Bayview Avenue Traffic Working Group.

The kick off public meeting is set for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24 at the Centre for Creative Learning at Crescent School (2365 Bayview Avenue).

The working group will complement the work of city planning’s design guidelines study and focus on traffic and congestion issues on Bayview between Lawrence and the 401.

The meeting is an opportunity to speak directly to senior city staff and discuss options and next steps.

Please let me know if you can attend or would like to receive updates going forward by sending me an email at Councillor_Robinson@toronto.ca or by calling my office at (416) 395-6408.

I look forward to seeing you there!

Warm regards,

Jaye Robinson

City Councillor
